This sixteen-page booklet gives a taste of the types of activities provided in Flexible Fluency resources. These are new activities like the ones in the Flexible Fluency booklets. This set covers a range of tables. In each of the Flexible Fluency booklets there is a mixture of difficulty, though the tables 2, 5 and 10 tend to have simpler activities.

Philosophy

Fluency in procedures and number facts comes from frequent enjoyable practice. The activities developed by Creative Maths encourage conceptual understanding while working towards automaticity.

This is a teacher e-resource. The PDF includes ten activity masters with their answers. It can be printed as a 16-page A5 booklet or printed off one page at a time and selected for individual students' needs.

Dr Nic Petty is known for her innovative resources based on sound pedagogy. This is a sample of many resources to support teachers and parents developing learners flexible fluency.
